In line with New Movements’ re-use/recycle concept, the idea behind the window display was to show how a material can be used in different ways. We began by looking at various types of materials and quickly concluded that wood was the most natural choice. From there, it would be turned into objects that in different ways highlighted the shoes, while also giving a sense of spring. The first window presents the materials in a simple way, stacked like a shelf. In the second, the same materials have been transformed into stools and podiums, and in the final one we wanted to create something more figurative—something fun. We ended up choosing a catepillar because it obviously allowed us to display many shoes!
